Rapide Bikes. Conquer the Weekend.

Madison

Product launch

Madison, the parent company of well-established Genesis and Ridgeback bikes wanted to launch a new bike range.

The goal was to establish a middle ground between Genesis’s carbon race machines and Ridgeback go-anywhere offerings. Stereo created the brand naming system and dynamic visual language for the bike range, successfully launching Rapide into a crowded marketplace.

Emotions

With more and more people taking up cycling and events like charity rides and sportives becoming increasingly popular, UK cyclists were already aware of a number of other bike brands in this sector of the market.

If we could reflect the brand’s heritage as well as the durability, high specification and versatility of the range we could make it stand out against its rivals in the same price bracket.

Stereo developed a stylish, dynamic look that spanned branding, typography, colour-ways, on-bike graphics and product naming for the range. Born out of the highly regarded Ridgeback range and carrying the same design and innovation ethos as Ridgeback, Rapide offers everything from carbon fibre Gran Fondo bikes to big clearance aluminium gravel machines. Specified with high level componentry from market leading brands, Rapide has the bike range to help riders conquer the weekend.

Impact

Rapide launched into the bike market with fantastic feedback from the cycling world. Building on a successful debut year, Rapide returns for 2016 with an even bigger and better range. The RL and RC series return with new eye catching graphics and a gran fondo friendly specification.
